The Herefordshire FA Football Development Plan is focussed upon ‘Start, Stay and Succeed’ and the core business of the Football Development Team focuses upon the following key outcomes: increasing participation, improving levels of performance, and widening access to football. This is achieved through three key areas of work; Club Development, Education Development and the Football Workforce.
FOOTBALL PARTICIPATION REPORT
The FA has produced for every local authority in the country a comprehensive set of participation data.
This is based on FA affiliation and compares on a regional and national basis how much of the relevant population are playing the game.
The other key area of focus is the percentage of Charter Standard teams in each area.
This has been compared to last season and will help identify where we develop football within the county.
