Development - take your skills to the next level

HFA Girls Football Development Centre

The Football Association's Talent Development Plan for Women's Football underpins the development of the female game in England.
The player pathway developed for female players provides a sound structure for the development of elite talent from the Centres of Excellence through to the national teams.

The HFA Girls Football Development Centre works in partnership with Kidderminster Harriers Licensed Centre of Excellence.

The partnership has been created to enable Herefordshire players who are deemed to have exceptional talent and ability to have the opportunity to progress through the player pathway through their involvement in 1 of the FA's 52 Licensed Centres oF Excellence.

The HFA Girls Football Development Centre has been operating since 2003 and provides additional training and playing opportunities for talented female football players across the County of Herefordshire and neighboring Counties.

In 2008-2009 the Development Centre will provide weekly training sessions for Girls at U10, U12, U14 and U16 age groups and sessions are delivered by Level 2 and Level 3 male and female coaches.

Further information about individual age group assessments can be found by clicking on the age group in the left menu. Players must be nominated by using the attached nomination form in the related documents section.
