Winter League

The HFA Primary School Girls Winter League runs between January and March to give schools the opportunity to organise and play competitive football and encourage girls to participate in football outside of the curriculum.

The league format has been developed to accommodate schools from all areas of the County wishing to play on a more regular basis.

The league generally runs for 6 -8 weeks and enables schools to arrange their fixtures at a convenient time, enabling flexible football opportunities.

Local clubs are encouraged to support their local school with coaching and officiating plus also provide an exit route for players who wish to continue their involvement in the game outside of school if they are not already doing so!
