Thanks to a 3-year grant from the Football Foundation, Gorsley Village Football Club is launching a new Futsal and Skills Centre aimed at both boys and girls.
Gorsley Village FC has developed the project in partnership with Herefordshire FA, the Ross Partnership of Extended Schools, Gorsley Goffs Primary School and B and B Services.
The project aims to provide football coaching, skills development and education to players aged between the ages of 5 and 11 and develop affiliated football opportunities for players of any age plus coaching and education opportunities for new and existing coaches, volunteers and officials, and parents, in and around the surrounding areas of South Herefordshire.
The Centre will be launched by a special guest and will take place on the school field at Gorsley Goffs Primary School on Saturday 8th November between 10am and 12pm.
Throughout the morning, participants will get the chance to take part in fun, skill-based football sessions led by qualified male and female coaches, followed by small sided games. Parents are more than welcome to attend to find out information about the centre including coaching and volunteer opportunities, which will be handed out throughout the morning.
Boys and girls of all ages and abilities are welcome to attend the launch and Get Involved in football through this exciting new project.
