HEREFORD CIVIL SERVICE FOOTBALL CLUB – PLAYERS WANTED
For over 50 years Hereford Civil Service Football Club has played in the Herefordshire FA Saturday afternoon adult male football league, making it one of the most senior football clubs within Herefordshire.
We are now looking for new players to strengthen our squad for the forthcoming 2016/17 season and would welcome a resurgence in numbers. Not only would this provide our club with some fresh talent and input but would also provide an opportunity for those players wishing to take the next step from youth to adult level football. We would also welcome established adult players who would like a new challenge to join our squad.
We hold 1 training session per week on Wednesday evenings delivered by qualified football coaching staff on the Astro Pitch at the Hereford Leisure Centre and play our home games on a Saturday afternoon on Grandstand Park just off Grandstand Road.
Our current squad is made up of players of varying standards with ages starting from 17 years of age up to 35+ years where all players are encouraged to participate regularly and who are supported and guided by our dedicated club committee.
Any potential players wishing to join us can contact the Manager, Paul Cotton, for further information via the club’s e-mail address; firstname.lastname@example.org . We would be more than happy to hear from any one and invite them to attend our regular training sessions.
