There are loads of different ways you can celebrate the European Championships this summer with Herefordshire FA! If you've been inspired by the Lionesses and their performances in the Netherlands then you're in the right place. Read on for our top 5 ways to enjoy the competition and turn your summer into a summer of football!  

1. Join in the fun at one of our FA Girls Football Euro Celebrations!

Throughout the tournament we've organized a number of girls football events and festivals across Herefordshire. These will provide the perfect opportunity to take your first steps to becoming a Lioness. There's something for everyone - it doesn't matter if you have never kicked a ball before or already play regularly! Come to one of our Euro Festivals or events and learn some new skills and make new friends.

We'll have FA qualified coaches delivering beginner sessions, friendly matches and games for everyone as well as loads of other activities including face painting and sticker swapping! You can even hang around afterwards and watch one of the Euro games in the clubhouse afterwards and cheer on the Lionesses!

Mon 31st - 2nd Aug Girls Soccer School
£15 per day or £35 for all 3
9am - 3pm all Everyday qualified coaches will provide fun and enjoyable football related games, activities and competitions for all abilities!

Ross Juniors Euro Festival

Weds 19th July 6-7:30pm

Free event open to all including new players, There will be a fun tournament, Euro sticker swap shop and prizes! Watch England vs. Scotland and enjoy some refreshments in the clubhouse after the game!

Ledbury Wildcats

Every Sunday 11am-12pm

Turn up and play sessions every week for girls of all abilities aged 5-11! Fun and friendly football perfect for beginners! Just £1 per session, come and give it a try!

HFA/Leominster Euro Finals Festival

Sun 6th August 12-3 (Euro Final 4pm)

 Free event open to all. Celebrate the final of the European Championships with a fun festival including beginners skills session, loads of matches and other fun activities! Enjoy the football then watch the final in the clubhouse afterwards with all your friends!

    2. Show your support to the England team by Saluting the Lionesses!

    Are you the England teams biggest fan? Prove it by entering our Salute the Lionesses competition! We want you to show us how much you support the England national team as they compete in the European Championships by saluting the Lionesses. Send us a photo or video of your best salute and you could win a prize! It's really simple:

                1) Practise and perfect your best salute (watch the how to video first if you like)

                2) Film it/Snap it

                3) Send it to Herefordshire FA by email, facebook or twitter

    3. Try these games and activities at home with your friends!

    If you are bored waiting for the next England game to kick off or you just want some fun football games to play with your friends why not download some of the fantastic activities we've made available using the links below (at the bottom of the page!). Take a look at the different skills and exercises you can practise at home with your friends! There's also heaps of football related games to play during halftime of a Lionesses game or when you're waiting for the next game to kick off. We've even got a free wallchart you can fill in with the results and track England's journey to the final (fingers crossed!)
