The Herefordshire FA Football Futures Day 2016

The Football Futures Day will look to celebrate the young volunteers that help run the game and develop the future workforce of football. The event is organised and delivered by The Herefordshire FA Youth Council with an emphasis on ‘’for young people by young people’’  aged 12-18 years old and will take place at the Hereford Academy on Wednesday 1st  June 2016 (Half Term) between 9:00am and 4:00pm.

The Herefordshire FA Youth Council pursue to reward young volunteers by offering them the chance to complete 4 workshops as well as gain other tools to improve their development pathway in football. The 4 workshops, which are linked to The FA Football Futures programme, are based around Young Leader interests and stages of development, but shall also provide NEW elements to the County Football Futures Day! There will be plenty of practical involvement, opportunities for a kick about and even a guest speaker!  Anyone is welcome whether they are currently involved or considering taking up a role within football, the day will be the perfect introduction, refresher, or way to enhance skills! The Football Futures Day is part of a National Programme that recognises and rewards young football volunteers aged 12 – 24 and is over-seen by The FA National Youth Council.
