United Futures is a NEW opportunity for young people aged 14-24 based in Herefordshire to access mentoring support and development opportunities as young leaders of the game through football.

The programme launch day will be taking place on the afternoon of Sunday 16th July at The Point 4 in Hereford and will continue throughout season 2017-18. The programme will be over-seen and developed by Herefordshire FA Youth Council members and lead Football Development Officer – Jodie Williams.

Being part of the programme young people from Herefordshire will be able to improve their leadership skills and link learning to other educational courses such as Duke of Edinburgh Award etc. It will also offer young people opportunity to enhance their CV by improving personal and transferable skills such as communication, teamwork, confidence and organisation. Lastly it will give passionate and committed young leaders the chance to gain insight to volunteer work taken out by The Herefordshire FA Youth Council and understand more about future football work based opportunities in Herefordshire.

The programme is completely inclusive despite anyone’s gender, ethnicity or ability.
