Staff from Herefordshire Football Association will be visiting three locations across Herefordshire to deliver a series of workshops to aid clubs with their development.
Across three dates at the end of August (28th) and start of September (4th, 9th) the HFA team will visit clubs to provide information and advice on an array of topics including funding, recruiting volunteers, making clubs inclusive and safeguarding
The club development roadshow will give clubs the opportunity to meet key contacts from the county FA, learn about new ways of growing their club and also ask any questions they may have. The evenings will be informal with Herefordshire FA staff keen to encouraging interaction between clubs and the county FA.
Dan Chance, Herefordshire FA Football Strategy Manager commented
“We want to support our clubs with their development and most importantly make sure they are aware of all the various forms of help and advice we can provide them. There is a lot we offer which clubs may not know about and at the same time we hope that by getting out and meeting clubs, we can find out what more they want to see from us.”
The club development workshops form part of Herefordshire Football Associations commitment to supporting their Charter Standard clubs with their development and progression. Initially the evenings will only be available to FA Charter Standard clubs before being opened up to non-charter standard clubs who are still affiliated to Herefordshire FA. For CS clubs, attendance will count towards their Annual Health Check requirements for attending a County FA “In-Service” Event so attendance is highly recommended.
The club development roadshow will be taking place at the following locations
Leominster Town FC: Wednesday 28th August
Hereford City Sports Club: Wednesday 4th September
Ross Juniors Sports Club: Monday 9th September
