HFA SUCCESS AS GRANT MONEY ROLLS IN FOR HEREFORDSHIRE TEAMS

Two Herefordshire football clubs have improved their facilities recently as both Holme Lacy FC and Shobdon FC have received brand new ground…

Herefordshire F.A. recently helped in the writing of the bid at Home Lacy, where a grant of £6,000 was invested towards their ground: “It is not easy to secure these types of funds and the hard work that the HFA and the Football club have put into the application has paid off.

This is the second successful grant application that the HFA have been involved in for the club and will help us continue to improve the facilities at Holme Lacy. I would like to thank the HFA for the worked involved and look forward to working with them in the future” – Ben Hince, (Chairman) Holme Lacy FC.

Meanwhile Shobdon F.C was awarded a grant of £6,800 from Sport England, for a mower and tractor thanks to the support from Roger Goodwin and Dan Chance (pictured) at the HFA.
