HFA Launch Sunday Football Fund

New Funding from the HFA is available for new and existing Sunday League Teams

In our recent Sunday League Survey, cost was highlighted as a key barrier to participation in Sunday football. After listening to player feedback, Herefordshire FA have launched a brand new Sunday Football Fund to further support existing County League Sunday Division teams as well as attract new teams to the league. By providing a specific funding pot for Sunday teams, the HFA hopes to reduce the financial constraints that can come with re-organising over the summer, running a team during the season or just starting out as a new side.

What can We apply for?

Existing Sunday League teams: Up to £300.00 - This can be used to support the cost of officials, purchase of new kit/equipment, hire of facilities and any other relevant costs.

New Sunday League teams: Start up pack - This will include a brand new Nike kit (colours etc. of your choice), 2 match balls, 6 training balls and a set of bibs.

How do we apply?

Existing teams – You will need to submit a detailed document outlining why your team need the funding and exactly how this will be spent (including budgets and costings). An application will need to be submitted in writing by post or email by downloading and returning the application form below. Successful applicants will receive payments on receipt of invoices.

New teams – New teams will be required to register and affiliate their club/team. Once your Sunday team has has been approved, clubs can submit a request for the free start up pack by email. The HFA will then purchase the complete starter pack for your club and award it to you so you can get your season underway as soon as possible!

Tthe deadline to apply is 16:00 on Friday 29th June. Applications will be assessed on a case by case basis, only teams competing in the 2018/19 HFA County League are eligible. email info@HerefordshireFA.com if you have any questions.
