Upcoming Referee Courses
Herefordshire FA is pleased to confirm details of upcoming referee courses.
Refereeing can be challenging but also very rewarding. With fantastic support mechanisms, opportunities to develop and a clear pathway to higher levels of the game, there has never been a better time to be a referee.
Once you have completed the course with Herefordshire FA, we guarantee to provide you with a mentor who will watch some of your matches and provide you with support.

HOW DO I BECOME A REFEREE?
Learners must live in Herefordshire and be aged 14 or over to become a referee.
Step 1: Click here to complete The FA Guide to the Laws of the Game: https://falearning.thefa.com/course/view.php?id=1804
Step 2: Click here to complete The FA Safeguarding Children Course: https://thebootroom.thefa.com/learning/qualifications/safeguarding-courses
Step 3: After you have completed Step 1 and Step 2, you need to email referees@herefordshirefa.com (Your email should include your full name and date of birth so that we can check the qualifications are showing on your profile) Please note: If you are aged 16 or over, you will also need to complete a DBS Check
Step 4: Attend The FA Referee Course (organised by Herefordshire FA)
Step 5: Referee at least 5 matches to complete the qualification
