The HFA is inviting applications to join the Board of Directors, as an Independent Non-Executive Director with experience in finance and/or audit

The HFA is the governing body for football across Herefordshire, responsible for developing, supporting and governing the game within the County in respect of approximately 10,000 regular active participants and a wide support network.

We are looking for an individual with skills and experience in this area, who can help continue to drive the organisation forward. Experience of sport is not essential, but the successful applicant should have an interest in the development of grassroots football in the County.

It is an exciting time to join the HFA, as we strive towards compliance with the FA’s Governance Code, a gold standard award for governance. You will be joining a forward-thinking Board who care passionately about the power of grassroots football.

The Board meets in the evening every 6 weeks with work in-between meetings usually limited to reviewing the HFA Risk Register and discussing the Board Finance Report.
