Independent Non-Executive Director (Volunteer)

COMMERCIAL & MARKETING

The HFA is the governing body for football across Herefordshire, responsible for developing, supporting and governing the game within the County in respect of approximately 10,000 regular active participants and a wide support network.

The HFA is inviting applications to join the Board of Directors, as an Independent Non-Executive Director with experience in commercial and marketing. We are looking for an individual with skills and experience in this area to help continue to drive the organisation forward. Experience of sport is not essential, but the successful applicant should have an interest in the development of grassroots football in the County.

PITCH ATTENDANT

(ZERO HOURS CONTRACT - number of hours flexible to suit - no set minimum hours per week)

We are excited to offer a unique opportunity to join our team and make a real impact, as a Pitch Attendant.

The Pitch Attendant is responsible for management (during pitch bookings) of the 3G pitch facility at The County Ground, Widemarsh Common, Hereford. The aim of the role is to represent the HFA to customers ensuring an excellent customer experience, whilst ensuring the safe operation of the venue.

The successful candidates need to possess an understanding of delivering excellent customer experiences. Previous experience in facility management is not essential as full training will be provided.

Shifts are offered to our bank of Pitch Attendants weekly, with the number of available hours changing throughout the year. Shifts take place during the evenings and weekends.

HFA Boys PDC Coach (U12 - U16)

We are excited to offer a unique opportunity to join our dedicated PDC coaching team and help develop talented male footballers in Herefordshire.

The Boys PDC coach will help the head coach create a safe, positive, football environment for talented players. The centre is designed to not only support and develop players and coaches, but also to benefit clubs across the county thanks to its participant centred focus. Herefordshire FA is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, driven and highly organised coach to help plan and deliver sessions in accordance with the philosophy of the centre, under the direction of the Technical Director.

The successful candidates need to a minimum FA Level 1 and other relevant checks qualifications and checks in place. Training takes place every Monday and Thursday evening at Herefordshire FA/Hereford Pegasus, with Saturday morning fixtures at various venues.

Kickstart scheme vacancy - business support officer

The Herefordshire FA (‘HFA’) is delighted to confirm the above vacancy as part of the UK Government’s ‘Kickstart’ scheme.

The scheme is open to young people aged 16 – 24 who are claiming Universal Credit, that are referred by their Jobcentre Work Coaches.

The successful applicant will provide a range of support to the HFA Football Services and Football Development teams.
